OpenThaiGPT is freely available for use, further development, and customization to meet the specific needs of businesses, educational institutions, and other interested organizations at no cost.

Recognizing the Potential of Large Language Models

The Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneur Association of Thailand (AIEAT) recognizes the significant potential of large language models in supporting language processing for businesses and organizations.

Although many large language models are currently available, only a limited number are highly capable of understanding and processing the Thai language. Developing a large language model specifically trained in Thai requires substantial resources, including large volumes of data, advanced computing infrastructure, and highly skilled specialists.

As a result, it is difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to develop and train their own large language models. Such projects often require significant investment and may involve costs beyond the reach of many businesses.

Building a Collaborative Network

To address this challenge, the Association has brought together partners and experts from a wide range of sectors.

This collaborative network contributes knowledge, ideas, manpower, technical expertise, and data. Many participants support the project with a strong spirit of sharing and public benefit.

The goal is to create innovative technologies that can be freely used by the public and business community, while supporting sustainable economic and technological growth in Thailand.
